OUR New Wine Educator: Dana Peixotto

Page Cellars’ new Wine Educator: Dana Peixotto DipWSET | IWA | FWS | SWS

Wine just got even more exciting at Page Cellars

If you’ve ever wanted to understand wine without feeling like you’re studying for a final exam… this is your moment. We’re thrilled to welcome Dana Peixotto as our new Wine Educator — a globally trained wine expert who believes wine should feel empowering, not intimidating. Yes, she holds some of the most respected credentials in the wine world (DipWSET, Italian Wine Ambassador, French Wine Scholar — passed with honors). In other words? She’s studied wine at the highest international levels — and still explains it in plain English. But what makes Dana special isn’t just the certifications.

It’s the way she makes complex ideas feel simple. It’s the way she welcomes questions. It’s the way she connects what’s in your glass to a story you’ll actually remember.

No gatekeeping. No jargon overload. Just curiosity, confidence, and great conversation.

Why This Matters to You

Wine education at Page Cellars isn’t about memorizing regions or impressing anyone at a dinner party. It’s about:

• Ordering at a restaurant with confidence

• Understanding what you like — and why

• Choosing bottles intentionally instead of guessing

• Discovering how Washington wines stand proudly on the world stage

Dana’s background in strategy and consulting means every class is thoughtfully designed, highly engaging, and approachable for every level. Expect maps, side-by-side tastings, lively discussion — and at least one “aha!” moment per session.

Questions are encouraged. Curiosity is celebrated.

What’s Coming: Cellar Sessions, Workshops & Wine Tidbits

Under Dana’s leadership, our Education Series is expanding in fresh, exciting ways:

Hands-on workshops (yes, we’re opening bottles)

In-person classes in our newly completed Barrel Room

Casual pop-up tasting labs

Online “Wine Tidbits” — quick, digestible learning you can enjoy anywhere

Private group experiences and curated events

Seats are intentionally limited to keep sessions interactive — so when dates are released, you’ll want to reserve early!

Kicking Off with France

We’re launching this new chapter with a focus on France — the foundation of so many wine traditions we reference today. But here’s where it gets exciting.

While we explore classic regions like Bordeaux with historic and regional distinctions, Dana will connect Old World traditions to what we do right here in Washington State. From structure and terroir to blending philosophy, you’ll begin to see how global wine history influences the wines we craft and love at home.

Wine Education: From the Riverbanks to the Barrel Room

Our 2026 Bordeaux River Cruise sold out quickly — proof that our community is hungry for deeper wine experiences. But even if you “missed the boat,” the journey continues right here in Woodinville. Join us in our brand-new barrel room as we explore Bordeaux!

Cellar Sessions: No Passport Required
Presented by Dana Peixotto

A two-part exploration of Bordeaux that brings France directly to Page Cellars.

Part I: White Bordeaux — April 2026

We’ll explore classic varietals, regional distinctions, and the Old World techniques that make these wines expressive and age-worthy. Through guided tasting and lively discussion, Dana will connect the historic riverbanks of France to the craftsmanship we celebrate in Washington.

Part II: Red Bordeaux — May 2026

We complete the journey with structure, blends, aging potential, and the artistry behind one of the world’s most celebrated regions. Whether you’re traveling with us in spirit — or simply love a good glass of Bordeaux — this immersive experience is for you.

Wine is meant to be shared. It’s meant to spark conversation. It’s meant to connect people.

With Dana guiding the way, Page Cellars is cultivating a more confident, curious, and connected local wine community. We are overjoyed to have her on our team — and we can’t wait to learn alongside her!

Welcome Dana! Let’s raise a glass to what’s ahead. 🍷
